Introducing FHE Onchain
Sharing the latest insights and breakthroughs on the intersection of FHE and web3.
Introducing FHE Onchain — a platform dedicated to exploring the cutting-edge intersection of Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) and web3 technology. We firmly believe that FHE, also known as the “Holy Grail '' of cryptography, will push for the next frontier of web3 in a significant manner, enabling new use cases that cannot be realized today.
FHE (fully homomorphic encryption), though conceived in 1978, has experienced a renaissance in recent years, thanks to significant advancements in cryptography. Over the past two decades, and particularly in the last five years, the field of homomorphic encryption has seen unprecedented progress. The excitement surrounding FHE is further fueled by the prospect of imminent hardware acceleration, poised to enhance scalability by 100x-1000x within the next 2 years.
Our mission at FHE Onchain is to foster this burgeoning trend through education and community building, sharing insights from the best builders in this space, and bringing those who are excited about this novel intersection together. Our aim is to provide accessible content that empowers the community to delve deeper into cryptography, FHE, and their applications in on-chain scenarios.
We will share informative videos across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter, catering to diverse learning preferences. Additionally, audio-only content will be available on Spotify. We invite you to join our early community on Telegram and reach out to us directly via email for any inquiries. This newsletter serves as a written counterpart to the interviews we conduct and will also include written reports and syntheses of interesting topics.
To kick off our journey, we have had the privilege of interviewing Rand Hindi, CEO of Zama—a leading FHE research firm that aims to make FHE accessible to the masses.
Thank you for embarking on this journey with us. We're excited to delve into the realm of FHE and web3, and we hope you find our content enlightening and inspiring. Stay tuned for more!
